As we enter into the final few months of 2015, it is very
much a time of endings and new beginnings. The Spring selling season is a refreshing and exciting time for all involved in the real estate profession.
It is an exciting and new beginning for our most recent Network Member - Reliance Real Estate, operating in Melbourne’s west. Read all about Reliance in the “Member Spotlight” section below. Welcome to our 41st Member agency - the Network continues to grow.
After two exceptional days in Melbourne (as well as a bonus third day for RERN Members), Coach the Coach has also come to an end for 2015. This event gets bigger and better
every year, so my advice - book early when next year's dates are released.
Coming to an end in 2015 is PowerSeries - Property Management Negotiation Power, held in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. These events are a fantastic opportunity for Members to get together, network and undertake some critical learnings. On behalf of the RERN team, thank you for your Power Series attendance this year, planning is already well underway for 2016!
With the new year just around the corner, we are unbelievably excited about what we have planned for 2016, launching with Kickstart and the ARERA’s in February.

The new year is just around the corner and now is a good time to set goals for the new year.
The best preparation...is to have an awesome finish to this year!
Now’s the perfect time to review every single opportunity; your current listings, how to get these across the line, and secondly, anyone in your pipeline. How do we get them moving forward and listing prior to christmas, ready for a new start? Perhaps you could use the Ex-pat or holiday strategy to be able to get them signed on a web based campaign now, ready to kick into a higher impact marketing campaign in terms of the new year.
Another thing to look at is people who are not in your pipeline. Perhaps they are in an old
buyer list, or a power review of your diary. Flick through every single page. Sometimes there’s a listing appointment in there, or there was a coffee catch up, or someone who didn’t make it to the pipeline. These are opportunities that you can take advantage of. The energy you put in now until the end of the year will make a big difference to how you start the new year.
Here's what you can do...
1. Have a quick conversation with everyone in the team and say “ok, here’s my plan for the next 1, 2, 3 weeks - what am I doing and what do I need to focus
on? Specifically, how do I need to put it in place?”
2. Get really clear when you come back in the new year, what does your startup plan look like? For example, How many listings do you have? How many people in your pipeline? What offers are going to be on the table? Think about all of these things so you get total clarity on how your new year looks.
Remember the best preparation for the end of the year is to finish this year in an incredibly strong way. |
